January favorites

January is ending. Is it me or this month felt very long? I am not complaining though. I was off for the month and I enjoyed each and every single day of that vacation. I just wanted to share a couple of things I enjoyed using for the month of January with you.

Beauty / facial care

1. St Ives Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub

So I am not new to St Ives products. However, I never used this pink lemon one. I always use the tea tree , apricot scrub or oatmeal products from St Ives. These are all great but I wanted to try this one. I love this product. It smells very nice which is a plus. It has some tiny beads in it but they are not as hard a the apricot scrub beads.

If you look at the back of the product, it has an exfoliation factor. As you can see, it says moderate. This means that this facial scrub exfoliate your skin but not too hard.

2. Facial Astringent

This is like a toner. I bought this for about 3 dollars from Dollar General. It’s takes excess dirt off my face after washing my face. so whatever the scrub didn’t pick up, this astrigent picks it up.

Skin care

Jergens ultra healing lotion

I was using cetaphil before but I don’t think it worked for my skin. I switched to jergens and I’ve been loving it. This lotion has a very nice smell. It leaves my skin moisturized. It has vitamin C, E, &B5 which is great for your skin.

I also loved these apps for the month.

Who doesn’t love Vsco? I do use the free filters so I am limited to a couple of filters. However, I really love using this app to edit my photos. Most of the pictures on my blog are edited by this app.

2. Camera/ Instagram layout

I use my camera all the time so it’s always my favorite. When I make collages, the layout app comes in handy.

3. Snapseed

I knew about this app but I didn’t know how to work it. It was very confusing for me. I read a blog post and the person said she use snapped to edit, so i decided to download it back. They upgraded the app and its a simpler than the old version. I’ve been playing around with it. I used it to edit some of my pictures on my Instagram

4. Canva

Canva is an app I believe every blogger should use. it is very simple to use. You don’t have to be a techy kind of person to use it. It helps with everything. You can create logos, blog banners and many more with it. Like its name, it gives you a canvas to put your work on. You can use it on the phone and on the computer at canva.com

5. Plann

If you want to se how your Instagram page will look like after you post a picture then this app is for you. It gives a preview of my page before I actually post the picture. If you are working on your Instagram feed and wants to keep it nice and clean then this is your app. it gives you a grid that looks like an Instagram page. I get to put the pictures i want to post on Instagram on there so i can see how it will look like.

These are all the things i loved for the month. What are your january favorites?
